Discovery Spot Member Early Access

Exhibit for Early Learners and their Families.

On Tuesdays, the Discovery Spot is open one hour early for MODS members from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Pre-registration is required. It is first-come, first-served, and limited to 200 members. Members will check in at the Information Desk. Admission is included.

South Florida Discovery Pass

Local Discounts for Tri-County Florida Residents.

Tri-County Florida Residents (Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach) must present a valid picture ID for entry with an advanced reservation. Guests who don’t have a valid picture ID will be required to pay the difference in the price of general admission. The MODS Discovery Pass is an all-in-one ticket that includes Museum exhibitions, live science demonstrations and one IMAX documentary film*.

Free Admission Days and Upgrade to an IMAX Documentary

Late Afternoon Admission

If you arrive after 4 p.m. the full admission price applies AND the tickets will be stamped so the guest may return within 30 days for a full day of Museum exploration.

Museums for All

$4 Admission per Person for up to Four (4) People per EBT or WIC Card.

Museums for All is a program that provides low-cost admission to families who are a part of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). This signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), administered by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), encourages people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits.

To receive Museums for All pricing, please present a valid photo ID and EBT/WIC card to the Box Office cashier. Qualified individuals receive a $4 admission fee per person for up to four people per EBT or WIC card. Adults and children are both eligible. Children under 1 receive free admission.
