Explore, Learn and Earn Merit Badges

Select Saturdays • 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Discover science in action through exciting, hands-on workshops designed just for Scouts. Each session features themed activities that connect to official badge requirements for Scouting America.

Member: $30 per scout; accompanying adult: Free
Non-Members: $45 per scout; accompanying adult: $5
Includes Museum admission for the day.

Scout Overnights

One-of-a-Kind Overnight Adventure

Select Fridays • 6:30 p.m. – 8 a.m.

Spend an unforgettable night at the Museum with themed overnight adventures that blend science, discovery and fun. Designed for Girl Scouts and Scouting America, these experiences let participants explore MODS after hours, earn badge requirements and make lifelong memories with friends.

Cost: $60 per participant (including chaperones) with a minimum of 50 total participants.

January 10 – Night in the Everglades 
Explore Florida’s wild side! Discover the incredible habitats, creatures and science of the Everglades.

February 21 – Carnival Construction
Design, build and play your own carnival games using MAGNATILES®, marble rollercoasters and go-karts.

April 11 – Mystery at MODS
Become a super sleuth as you investigate fingerprints, uncover clues with forensic science and crack secret codes.

May 2 – Messy Science Night 
Dive into colorful, hands-on experiments that make science come alive.

September 19 – Space Siesta 
Build glowing LED constellations, explore careers in space science and journey through the stars.

October 10 – GLOW Night 
Explore the magic of bioluminescence, glow-in-the-dark chemistry and an electrifying black light dance party.
