Musician in Residence Series
Join us as we celebrate the science of sound all summer long with our NEW Musician in Residence series! Special guests from across the musical spectrum will be visiting MODS throughout the summer for a wide range of programs, from intimate early childhood classes to large scale dynamic performances and interactive workshops. We are excited welcome the South Florida Symphony Orchestra for a series of instrument workshops on June 8th and July 21st culminating in an unforgettable end-of-summer concert on Sunday, August 4th. On Sunday, June 30th, come along for Michael Gil’s Musical Journey- an inspiring interactive performance showcasing the evolution of instruments and the role of music in history, geography, science, and global awareness. Delou Africa will be bringing the explosive energy of traditional West African music and dance to MODS for an interactive performance and workshop on Saturday, July 13th.
