As a trusted leader in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) for more than 45 years, MODS has diligently worked to increase access to science education for South Florida’s diverse community. The Visit Lauderdale Science Festival will take over downtown Fort Lauderdale with accessible, interactive and fun STEM experiences at the Museum and throughout the Arts & Entertainment District.

“Science festivals bring communities together to celebrate STEM engagement and learning. South Florida has thriving STEM industries that will showcase technology innovations and open minds to careers in our region’s major industries,” said Joseph P. Cox, president & CEO of MODS. “As big, bold events, science festivals foster a society more comfortable with science and awareness surrounding related issues that generate knowledge, innovation and invention.”
