Thunderbolts* was shot using IMAX-certified digital cameras with select sequences
carefully composed for IMAX’s exclusive Expanded Aspect Ratio. IMAX’s EAR sequences
are brought to life unlike any other moviegoing experience in the world – visually expanding
to fill the IMAX screen and draw fans into the action. Moviegoers will find themselves totally
immersed in our 1.90:1 aspect ratio, which provides up to 26% more picture than non-IMAX
theatres.

Thunderbolts* was enhanced frame by frame with IMAX’s proprietary DMR technology to
provide a level of clarity, brightness, depth and detail that’s unmatched in the industry. The
film also benefits from a custom sound mix, created specifically for IMAX auditoriums’
unique sound system and theatre design.
