The Leonardo da Vinci Society is an individual giving society that was established by the Museum of Discovery and Science in 1993. It is the Museum’s most prestigious group of individual donors whose involvement reflects a shared belief in the importance of science education.

It is significant that the name “Leonardo da Vinci” was chosen for this society. The scope and depth of his work – as a scientist, inventor, painter, and architect – produced extraordinary achievements which have spurred the minds of generations which followed. As a member of the Leonardo da Vinci Society, you will help the Museum do the same – ignite the imaginations of all who experience hands-on science.

As a member of the Leonardo da Vinci Society, your support ensures that the Museum of Discovery and Science continues to grow and fulfill its mission of connecting people to inspiring science through exhibits, programs and films. Leonardo da Vinci Society members receive exclusive benefits, including members-only events throughout the year.  Past events include a complimentary holiday family continental breakfast before a showing of The Polar Express IMAX film and a dinner on a luxury yacht.

By joining the Leonardo da Vinci Society with a gift of $1,000 or more, you make it possible for the Museum to provide excellent programs and exhibits, fund innovative educational programming and make the Museum of Discovery and Science accessible to all members of our community.  The different giving levels are shown below.

Annual Membership Fee: $1,000
