Join us for a riveting panel of film professionals as they deep dive into the role STEM plays in the film industry, as well as how STEM has molded each of the speaker’s careers. Our panel of film professionals combines for more than 60+ years of experience in the film industry and includes Gina Glen, IMAX Corporation; Amber Hawtin, SK Films; and Sandy Lighterman, Broward Film Commissioner. After the panel, we will be treated to a sneak preview showing of the upcoming summer IMAX documentary film: Arctic: Our Frozen Planet, narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch. Arctic: Our Frozen Planet is an epic 3D adventure across the magical realm of snow and ice at the top of our planet. For millennia, its steady seasons have allowed life to thrive. But global warming is upsetting this balance, and scientists are discovering that what happens here, affects us all.
