What makes up our skies and beyond? Discover the Earth’s atmosphere and the surrounding galaxy. Join us on the last weekend in March to learn about the science of solar eclipses and use solar viewers on April 8. Prepare to go to the limits of the universe and beyond!
- Exhibits, Shows and Demos: Learn about rocket science, build a moon base camp with LEGO® bricks and discover what it takes to keep a space station in orbit. Collaborate with friends to build a MODS space station and explore the MODS planetarium.
- Animal Encounters: Visit the Science Park and see the butterflies, dragonflies and other insects that fill our skies.
- Watch an IMAX on the GIANT Screen: Wings Over Water, Flight of the Butterflies, Asteroid Hunters and more!
- Career Connections: Explore careers in astronomy and aviation!
Just for early learners (ages 0-6): Experience the magic of space flight by creating your own rocket and spacecraft. Learn about the phases of the moon and create your own moon phase necklace.
