MODS is teaming up with FIU International Hurricane Research Center and the Florida Division of Emergency Management for one of our most popular annual events! Hurricane season is around the corner and future storm chasers, meteorologists and building engineers will learn all about this natural phenomenon and how to be prepared for anything nature throws our way! Test building skills against strong winds, learn about the water cycle and explore our Storm Center exhibit.
- Exhibits, Shows and Demos: Attend the What’s Up with Weather? demonstration to explore the great water cycle and its significance in Earth’s weather patterns and then make-and-take structures to weather the storm at the Windy Towers station.
