Hosted by our friends, the Puppet Network, Damn Good Hospitality Group, the City of Fort Lauderdale, Revolution Live and Riverwalk, join the 14th Annual Florida Day of the Dead Celebration on Saturday, November 4! This is a FREE family-friendly event in Esplanade Park.
PUPPETS
1-5 p.m. in MODS’ Atrium
Guests have the opportunity to interact with the free-standing puppets.
FOLKLORICO STAGE
3-7 p.m. at Esplanade Park
The Folklorico Stage showcases performers presenting the best of indigenous and traditional folk dance and music traditions from Mexico and throughout Latin America. Enjoy food trucks, face painting, craft booths and kid’s activities all afternoon too!
SKELETON PROCESSIONAL
The ceremony begins 6 p.m. Sharp at Esplanade Park
A playful spectacle that honors the Mexican tradition where skeleton costumed revelers animate about a dozen 7’ – 18’ tall giant puppets from Puppet Network and the Puppet Guild of South Florida. Musicians lead the way as this all-ages processional.
DAY OF THE DEAD STREET PARTY
5-10 p.m. at Backyard 100 SW 3rd Avenue
After the Skeleton Processional, presented by Damn Good Hospitality, enjoy craft booths, Latin American food trucks, skull face painting, music and family fun in this all ages street party!
