The App-titude Internship Program is one of the many programs offered by The Salah Foundation STEM Center for Education and Career Development and is underwritten by United Way of Broward County.
This exciting two-year internship exposes high school students to careers in computer science and engineering while being introduced to coding.
Broward students entering their Junior year in August 2017 are invited to apply for a two-year internship that gives them an opportunity to earn volunteer service hours, college credit, and a stipend while advancing their knowledge in STEM education.
The program begins in the Fall of 2017 and runs through May 2019 at the Museum of Discovery and Science. Students will meet at the Museum a minimum of two times per month and also participate in Florida Atlantic University College of Engineering and Computer Science’s three week, dual-enrollment course in Summer 2018. Upon successful completion of this college level course, students will receive three semester hours of college credit.
