Summary: The Development Operations Manager (DVO) will work to provide high-level development operations support to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of the Museum’s fundraising infrastructure. Will be hands-on in the day-to-day operations of development systems, including gift processing, donor data management, reporting, prospecting, partnership fulfillment and development communications. The DVO will routinely monitor and maintain constituent and gift data to ensure compliance with organizational policies and IRS regulations. The DVO will develop and follow established procedures, systems, and data standards that support well-managed fundraising operations with an emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, collaboration with internal departments, and timely support of fundraising initiatives in coordination with the Museum’s goals and objectives. The DVO will work closely with the Finance Department on reconciliation and management.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in nonprofit management, business administration, information systems, or related field preferred. Minimum five years’ experience in development operations, advancement services, or nonprofit data management. Advanced working knowledge of Blackbaud products required. Strong computer and systems knowledge, including literacy in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills. Experience with donor reporting, list management, event registration systems, and email communications platforms required. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy. Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment and maintain strict confidentiality.
