MULTI-DAY CAMP TUITION We offer one-day, two-day, three-day and five-day camps depending on the week/school calendar. Weeks cannot be pro-rated for fewer days attended.

CAMP STEAMology T-SHIRTS ARE REQUIRED Campers are required to wear Camp STEAMology t-shirts. One FREE shirt will be included with registration for any multi-day camp, and an additional shirt will be provided for subsequent weeks. Additional shirts can be purchased for $12 at check-in.
FIELD TRIPS will be to Esplanade Park, an outdoor venue directly across from the Museum. Other enrichment activities will be brought on-site to the Museum from trusted partners.
ADVANCED REGISTRATION is required to guarantee a spot due to smaller group sizes.
POLICY AND PROCEDURES:
- All camp registrations are final and will be honored only on the camp day/week purchased.
- Except in the case of an event cancellation by the Museum, there are no refunds or exchanges allowed.
- Absences may not be “made up” by having your child(ren) attend another camp on a different day, nor will you receive a prorated amount/refund/credit for any missed days. This includes illnesses or emergencies.
- If a camper is sent home due to behavioral reasons, no refunds will be provided.
KEEPING HEALTHY SCIENTISTS SAFE:
- Daily health and safety protocol review with campers.
- Every camper must bring a reusable water bottle clearly labeled with their name. No single-use plastic bottles, please.
- Proper hand-washing technique and frequent reminders.
- Designated Camp restrooms and water fountain.
- Required pre-registration for a guaranteed spot.
- Adherence to all local, state and national health and safety laws, rules and guidelines. Educators are prepared to provide an amazing camp experience.

September 25 (One-Day Camp)
All aboard MODS’ Thomas-themed camp! Be the first to interact with the new traveling exhibit, Thomas and FriendsTM: Explore the Rails! Campers will learn valuable STEM skills by engineering their very own train and planning routes like a conductor. Campers then will collaborate with fellow campers to construct train tracks and test their trains.
Let’s Get Spooky!
October 24 (One-Day Camp)
Campers will use STEAM skills and the engineering design process to construct a spooky structure using recycled and reusable materials. Campers will experience a ghostly demonstration with dry ice and liquid nitrogen.
Sounds of Science
November 7 (One-Day Camp)
Join us to experience the musical delight of MODS’ signature KaBoom! shows! Campers learn about sound waves, how they travel and make their own model.
Everglades Adventures
November 10 (One-Day Camp)
Join us for an immersive Florida Everglades experience where campers will learn about endangered Florida panthers and meet one of our native Animal Ambassadors. Construct a solution to protect an endangered species and show the world by uploading your idea to the MODS’ LEGO® Build the Change website.
STEMsgiving!
November 20-22 (Three-Day Camp)
Give thanks to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)! Campers will experience some of the most innovative STEM experiments, from creating lava lamps to experiencing static electricity. Campers will learn about scientists from past to present who have contributed to our understanding of the world.
In Excess: Upcycled!
November 24 (One-Day Camp)
Learn about the different ways to upcycle, use items sustainability and help save the planet! Make a composter and other household items from materials found around the Museum.
Around the World in December
December 26-29 (Four-Day Camp)
Learn about the different continents of the world through STEAM! Campers will dive into the science of zoology, learn different migration and behavioral patterns, explore technology to detect weather patterns and engineer a coral nursery that is resilient to weather fluctuations. Explore technology that is used around the world to detect weather patterns. Engineer a coral nursery that is resilient to weather fluctuations. Learn about different cultures around the world and create an art piece with different cultural influences.
Tinkering: The Perfect City!
January 1-5 (Five-Day Camp)
What do engineers do? They design and build structures using tools and machines. What can you engineer to solve a problem? Campers will plan, create, test and improve their engineering skills at MODS to collaboratively create their perfect city!
MODS Peacemakers
January 15 (One-Day Camp)
Everyone deserves access to clean water. Join us in the survey lab to design and test water quality just as engineering peacemakers do. Learn how to test water quality in a survey lab. Using the scientific process, experiment and construct the optimal water filter. Learn how we can help ensure all people have access to safe drinking water.
Kitchen Chemistry
January 22 (One-Day Camp)
Turn your inner chef into a kitchen chemist! In this edible chemistry adventure, campers will explore the science of making edible slime, potions and delicious treats. Complex chemistry has never tasted so sweet!

February 19 (One-Day Camp)
Ignite your love for science by joining MODS for our all-time signature STEM activations, including Nitro Cloud Demos, To Fly in the Makerspace and other hands-on activities.
Voyage to the Deep Sea!
March 22 (One-Day Camp)
What lurks deep in the ocean? Be the first to experience MODS’ newest traveling exhibit: Voyage to the Deep! Learn undersea stories about Captain Nemo and his nautilus submarine, explore Jules Verne’s imaginary world and discover real-life wonders of the ocean.
Camp Aviation Academy
March 25-29 (Five-Day Camp)
Campers join MODS’ very own Aviation Academy interns as they demonstrate some of the most amazing aviation activities! Learn from up-and-coming aviators about the world of aviation, tinker with machinery and take flight in MODS’ Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust Hangar.
Into the Earth!
April 10 (One-Day Camp)
Explore the Earth by digging into the soil and get growing! Join MODS as we learn about the layers beneath the Earth: soil, limestone, and clay. Fabricate different soil types for plants to grow. Campers will learn about the Florida Aquifer system and build their own aquifer testing materials that separate and filter sediments and pollutants.
Look to the Stars
June 11-14 (Four-Day Camp)
Learn to navigate the stars as you create your own constellation map. Campers will journey through the night sky in the MODS planetarium and zoom through the galaxy to observe constellations, planets and beyond!

A maker can take an idea and bring it to life. Campers will become creative thinkers using tools and supplies to design their inventions.
Survival of the Slowest
June 24-28 (Five-Day Camp)
Have you ever tried to do something slowly? Sometimes being small and slow can have its advantages. Meet some of the world’s slowest animals and learn about their unique traits. Get ready to think like an animal and complete challenges as unhurried as possible.
Lost in Space!
July 1-3 (Three-Day Camp)
Sorry to tell you, but you are lost in space! Don’t worry- join us at MODS to discover and tinker with astronauts’ tools to ensure their survival in an extreme environment! Complete the mission challenge to survive outer space.
Culture Shock!
July 5 (One-Day Camp)
Did you know scientific breakthroughs can shape entire cultures? Learn about these discoveries and how they impact our everyday life. Create electricity that once shocked the world and use a microscope to create your own histological cell slide.
Padawan Academy
July 8-12 (Five-Day Camp)
Come join us in a galaxy not-so-far, far away! Learn the ways of the forces on Earth. Prepare to become a Jedi Knight by electrifying your lightsaber and creating your own TIE Fighters. Jedis need lots of energy, so prepare to make Jedi snacks that will fuel you on your mission.
STEM: Waterplay!
July 15-19 (Five-Day Camp)
Get ready for a week of camp full of water play! Experience water-based STEM activities, create floating LEGO® cities, observe changing water densities and analyze soil compositions. Make your very own rocket bottle launcher and get ready to blast off! Don’t forget to bring extra dry clothes!
MODS Shark Week
July 22-26 (Five-Day Camp)
It’s Shark Week! Campers will investigate the biodiversity and chemistry of our oceans and learn about sharks from their prehistoric origins through today. Come see MODS’ lifesize Megalodon and learn about tracking sharks at MODS’ signature Shark Cart!
Food Forest Science
July 29-August 2 (Five-Day Camp)
Explore an outdoor, living classroom and gain hands-on experience in regenerative gardening. In partnership with Thrive Lot, enjoy a tropical urban environment that’s been transformed into an edible permaculture garden with more than 50 species of tropical fruit trees and medicinal plants. Discover how to grow your own backyard edible landscape!
Enchanted!
August 5-9 (Five-Day Camp)
Join MODS for a week of magical refuge while you build an enchanted tree house. Get transported to the land of fairies, gnomes, trolls, dragons, unicorns and other magical creatures! Create miniature worlds, fairy tales, art, costumes and stories.
LEGO®: Creation Explosion
August 12-16 (Five-Day Camp)
It’s time for MODS’ LEGO® camp! Join us for all things LEGO® as campers engage in creating, coding and constructing larger-than-life structures. Campers will learn through playful, hands-on STEAM activities and fun, engaging experiences.
