Certified Giant Screen Cinema

The AutoNation IMAX 3D Theater and is one of only three theaters in Florida that have been designated as a Certified Giant Screen Cinema^® by the Giant Screen Cinema Association. Our six-story-high screen, measuring 60 ft. high x 80 ft. wide, is large enough to show a whale life-size! Our giant screen combined with our unique theater geometry, stadium seating and IMAX sound system provides you with a truly immersive film experience.

It's like IMAX to the Max!

The AutoNation^® IMAX^® Theater also offers 15/70mm Film, which has a full-frame aspect ratio of 1.43:1 (non-tech translation: The image width is 1.43 times the size of its height). This is considerably greater than mainstream cinema presentations, which usually display a 2.39:1 aspect ratio.

Ultimately this means a full-frame 15/70mm scene will fill the entire height and width of our screen, significantly more than the standard 2.39:1 presentation.
