Museum Admission with EBT/SNAP Benefits FAQs

Museums for All is a program that provides low-cost admission to families who are a part of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards.

Museums for All benefits all SNAP or WIC EBT cardholders with valid photo ID. The $2 admission fee is good for up to four (4) individuals per card. It may not be used for school field trips or group visits.

$2 admission fee per person for up to four people per SNAP or WIC EBT card. Adults and children are both eligible. Children under two-years-old receive free admission.

Yes. Museums for All aims to increase museum accessibility for everyone!

To redeem Museums for All pricing, please provide the following information at the box office on the day of your visit:

  • A valid photo ID
  • Your Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card

While you can bring as many people with you as you would like, the discounted rate of $2 is only valid for up to four (4) people per EBT card. Additional people in your party must pay the regular admission rate.

The Museums for All program reduces the price of Museum admission only. It does not include an IMAX documentary film.

No. The SNAP or WIC EBT cards are simply used for identification, showing that you are eligible for the Museums for All admission rate.

Anytime you want! Museums for All is not restricted to certain days or times. You can enjoy the Museum during regular operational hours.

Monday – Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

MODS is open seven days a week, 362 days a year. The Museum is closed on Thanksgiving Day, during our Annual Gala (October) and during our Annual Bank of America Wine, Spirits and Culinary Celebration (March).
