Tour of Ecoscapes
July 26, 2021 • 6 p.m. (EDT)

Take a trip to MODS and through the diverse ecosystems of Florida past and present. This program will include an interactive guided tour of our Florida Ecoscapes and Prehistoric Florida exhibits, as well as an introduction to some of
the animals that call MODS home and the zookeepers who care for them. Stay tuned as our program concludes with a broadcast of National Parks Adventure, a fan favorite from our IMAX documentary film library.



Evening with Astronaut Karen Nyberg

Spend a FREE out-of-this-world evening with Astronaut Karen Nyberg! As an engineer, astronaut and artist, Nyberg spent 30 years at National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Johnson Space Center supporting human spaceflight, including 20 years as an astronaut and two spaceflights totaling 180 days in space.

See her presentation, enjoy a live question and answer session and watch the IMAX documentary, The Search for Life in Space.

 

Science of Sound

Learn all about the wonderful world of sound as we demonstrate how vibrations in the air can affect the way the human brain processes music and noise. Follow along as we make our own instruments together out of common household objects and join in on the maker-symphony! Dream Big Engineering Day
