Join Museum STEM educators as we delve into proven methods to inspire young learners to explore through critical thinking, innovation and with real-world applications. You’ll learn how to utilize these immersive approaches and lessons in your own classroom. Classes are open to preschool through high school educators. Grade appropriate curriculum will be provided as part of the take-home kit.

Explore how to create and maintain a classroom makerspace in our Sprouting STEM Early Childhood Learning Lab. Inspire your young scientists to tinker while learning through play. MODS will cover supplies, the design process and a few examples of tinkering.

January 24, 2023 ∙ 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Reinvent how science is typically taught in the classroom! Thinking out-of-the-box, teachers will learn to develop and create exciting chemical and physical science activities using everyday materials. Explore unique and cost-effective ways to teach STEM concepts. Learn three out-of-the-box science activities to bring to your classroom to connect early learners to inspiring science.
