PLEASE NOTE: All birthday parties must be booked more than two weeks in advance. Dates are first-come, first-served.

PLEASE NOTE: There is an extra charge for selecting a second birthday party theme. Additional Dinosaur Adventure theme or Additional Slime Time theme requires a second time slot for an additional 30 minutes.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a maximum of 50 guests total for the before/after-hours birthday parties and regular birthday parties. Maximum 30 children for each party.

Note: Your credit card will NOT be charged until a member of the Guest Experience team contacts you to verify your birthday party date/time. The credit card will be kept on file until the end of your Birthday Party experience. 

Birthday Party Experience Acknowledgement:

Onsite Birthday Parties (Regular Hours)
: A minimum charge for 20 guests is required.
Ultimate Birthday Parties (Before/After Hours): A minimum charge for 30 guests is required.

Note: A guest includes everyone ages 2 and older in the birthday party room.

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $125 is due at the time of booking. The $125 will be applied to the grand total of the party. 

Additional guests: Any additional guests will incur a $16 fee/per person (ages 2 and older) for any regular hours birthday parties. Any additional guests will incur a $24 fee/per person (age 2 and older) for any before/after-hours birthday parties. This must be paid via credit or check by the end of the party event. Any guests outside of the maximum number allowed in the room will not be allowed to enter the birthday party room, and they will be required to pay the regular general admission pricing.

Final guest count and final payment: The final guest count and final payment are due ten (10) days prior to reservation date. If you need to reduce the number of attendees for your party, this must take place when the final headcount is due to avoid being charged for the original number reserved.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: If you cancel your party, you will forfeit your $125 deposit prior to final payment date. There are no refunds, exchanges, or credits for cancelling the party after the final payment is made. There are no refunds, exchanges, or credits for any “no-shows” on the day of the birthday party.

When you arrive: Visit the Information Desk at least 15 minutes before your scheduled party time to meet your museum birthday party host.The birthday party parents will either receive a parking spot or a parking pass. If it is a parking spot, you will be parking in our Bus Loop on S.W. 5th Avenue (Commodore Brook Avenue). If you receive a parking pass, place your parking pass on your dashboard, and park on the third floor of Arts & Entertainment Parking Garage. Late party arrivals risk a compromised time schedule since other parties or events may follow your allotted time in the party room. No refunds, credits, or exchanges will be given for late arrivals. Your museum birthday party host will assist you by transporting your food and gifts to the party room as well as helping you get the room ready for your guests. After the party, guests must remove all belongings and leave the room, so our staff can prepare for the next event. For party guest parking, please visit mods.org/birthday-party-faqs/.
