EcoExplorers Internship Program in Environmental Education and Workforce Training

The EcoExplorers Internship Program provides a yearlong paid internship for students entering grades 10-12 at Fort Lauderdale, Dillard 6-12, Stranahan, Northeast, South Broward or South Plantation High School in environmental education and workforce development.

Qualifications

Must be entering 10^th, 11^th or 12^th grade in the 2024-2025 school year.
Must attend either Fort Lauderdale High School, Dillard High 6-12, Northeast High School, South Broward High School, South Plantation High School or Stranahan High School during the 2024-2025 school year.
Be available to attend a 40-hour immersive orientation focused on learning about MODS and South Florida ecosystems.
Be willing and able to work at MODS as an environmental ambassador, teaching and interacting with Museum guests, for at least 20 hours per month.
